No One Loses With A Royal Flush
In Poker, the royal flush is the highest possible combination of cards that a player may get. The chances of getting those five cards all in one hand is very slim.
Having a royal flush, an ace, a king, a queen, a jack and a ten belonging to the same suit, means victory. It is almost impossible to lose with such a hand; it only happens in movies and television.
The odds of having this set of cards is slim to zero, it's already a sure winner. In numbers, the probability of achieving such a feat is 1 out of 2,598,960. This is like saying that if you had played 2,598,960 times in your life, in all of these times, the royal flush could have most likely appeared only once. Only a person who plays 200 games of Poker in a day, every day for 36 years have played that much; and, in all of those years, the chances that a royal flush will occur is only 1.
Virtually, no one gets a royal flush in the game. People play through their lifetimes without even encountering this magnificent set.
No one loses with a royal flush. It's a fact. Even if it's the royal flush of clubs, the lowest ranked in these majestic sets of cards, no one would ever lose with it. The probability that two players acquire royal flushes in the same round is virtually impossible. The chances are slimmer than one in a billion; it's almost a number that you'll never truly encounter in your existence.
The chance that two players are playing with royal flushes simultaneously is 1 out of 6,754,593,081,600. One to six trillion is an unimaginable proportion. Such things occur only in television sets and silver screens where occurrences are staged.
So whenever you are confronted with a royal flush, what do you do with it. No, you don't consider what your opponent has. You win with it. You wouldn't lose with your hand. It's not even a risk.
Well, it's a sure thing if you were lucky enough to have a royal flush of spades. Lucky here is an understatement. But if you're not playing with this, it doesn't matter. Royal flushes are royal flushes no matter what suit because the chances of two royal flushes occurring simultaneously is 1 out of 6 trillion - simply stated, impossible.
It doesn't matter if it's a royal flush of clubs, or of hearts, or of diamonds or the ultimate spades. You've already won. It is almost definite that your opponent is not playing with a hand that is better than yours.
